Aaryn’s Best of the Best: My Top FIVE Shows To See At Walt Disney World Resort

Aaryn here!  Ready for the next Best of the Best post?  Well, here we go!

It’s no secret that Walt Disney World is our family’s favorite vacation spot.  With as many times as we have been there, I have had the pleasure of experiencing and enjoying many amazing attractions the Disney parks have to offer.   I have survived thrilled rides, savored delicious meals at various restaurants, and met with some pretty “goofy” and “magical” characters.   Yet another exciting aspect of visiting a Disney Park is the variety of live shows offered.   These shows are a great opportunity to take a break from the heat of the day, give your feet a rest and enjoy some spectacular artistry, participate in a story or laugh until your sides hurt!   In keeping with my ” Best of the Best” series, I have compiled a list below of the top five shows I have enjoyed at Walt Disney World. See how many of them you have experienced. Continue reading Aaryn’s Best of the Best: My Top FIVE Shows To See At Walt Disney World Resort

A Teen and His Mom: My Top Four Memories of our Walt Disney World Trip

For those of you who have been following along, you are well aware that my mom and I just took a trip to Walt Disney World this past May and we had the greatest time together.   I know that seems hard to believe considering that came from a teenager and what teenager enjoys spending time alone with his / her parents, right?  Well, I am one of the few that may be willing to admit that I actually enjoy the time I get to spend with my mom (and dad, but he didn’t come this trip).     Continue reading A Teen and His Mom: My Top Four Memories of our Walt Disney World Trip

A Hungry Teenager’s Perspective on Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival: a Disney Foodie in the Making

Okay, so I am taking a quick detour from my “Best of the Best” series to share a portion of a recent trip I took with my mother to Walt Disney World .  Bear with me ~ this one is going to be “delicious. ”  As an aspiring Disney Foodie, I have had two major bucket list goals (as my mother likes to refers to them): to attend the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival AND to attend the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.   I was finally able to cross one of these off my list as we recently traveled to Walt Disney World to explore Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival.   Continue reading A Hungry Teenager’s Perspective on Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival: a Disney Foodie in the Making

Aaryn’s Best of the Best of WDW: Dining Edition

From the desk of Aaryn…

No matter how many times I have been to Walt Disney World, my primary focus, as a growing teenage boy, has always been on one particular part of the trip: the FOOD!   I have always found the food to be on my major list of concerns.  I make it a necessity to know where and what we are eating on vacation (to the point of driving my mother crazy during the planning period).   Our family’s tradition is to try new restaurants with every trip, but to include one eatery as a repeat visit.  Over the almost nine years I have had the opportunity visit WDW, I have developed a list of  several restaurants which have stood out to me as places where I would definitely want to go time and time again.  These places may have fantastic food and great service or they might just be a buffet that I like to enjoy for as long as they would allow me to sit there and eat.  Last post, I shared with you my best of the best with regard to attractions.  Today, I have created a list for you of my favorite two restaurants (table or quick) at each park. The Best of the Best: Attractions at Walt Disney World Resort

I consider myself quite fortunate to have been able to visit Walt Disney World many times in my short life and have had a chance to try out nearly all of the attractions that grace each of its four wonderful theme parks to this point.  These are probably my favorite part of our Disney vacations (other than the food, of course).   Over the years, I have found that I have developed very specific tastes and have noticed that I have some favorites in each park.  I am curious if your teens and pre-teens have the same favorites, so what I have done is created a list of my top two favorite attractions in each of the four main Parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
